You feel off, but your labs say “normal.”

You want energy that fuels your life—not health that holds you back.

I help highly motivated men and women uncover the root causes behind gut issues, low energy, and metabolic imbalances — when traditional testing doesn’t offer the full picture.

  • A functional lab is a tool used to assess how your body is functioning, not just whether or not you have a disease. These labs help uncover the root causes of symptoms by evaluating patterns of imbalance across major body systems—like digestion, hormones, detoxification, and stress response.

Unlike standard labs that look for pathology, functional labs offer a deeper, more holistic view. They highlight trends that may be impacting your energy, mood, gut health, immune function, or overall resilience. Examples include hormone panels (like DUTCH), stool testing (GI-MAP), food sensitivity tests (MRT), and organic acid tests (OAT).

In my practice, I use these labs to personalize protocols and prioritize foundational healing—starting with adrenal restoration or gut repair—rather than chasing symptoms or isolated markers.

  • Most chronic conditions don’t appear overnight — they develop silently over years. Long before symptoms show up, your body gives subtle biochemical signs that something is off: nutrient deficiencies, low-grade inflammation, hormonal shifts, gut imbalances, or early metabolic changes.

For example, insulin resistance — the root of most metabolic and cardiovascular disease — can develop up to 10 years before a diagnosis of prediabetes. By the time blood sugar or cholesterol markers are “abnormal,” those systems have already been under strain for years.

Functional labs help identify these early shifts before they become problems, giving you the data to make targeted lifestyle and nutrition choices now — when it’s easiest to correct course.

This is about future-proofing your health: building metabolic and hormonal resilience, preventing disease, and optimizing longevity. Investing proactively saves money, energy, and frustration later — prevention will always be more effective (and more affordable) than repair.

  • I do not accept insurance, as functional wellness programs are not typically covered by traditional health plans. However, many clients are able to use their Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to cover program costs. I also offer flexible payment plans to make your investment more manageable. By working outside of insurance, we have the freedom to focus entirely on you and your health goals — without the limitations or restrictions of insurance companies. This approach allows me to spend more time with you, dig into the root causes of your concerns, and create strategies that truly support lasting results.

  • Insurance is designed to cover disease diagnosis and treatment—not preventative or functional care.

Because functional labs are focused on function and prevention—often identifying imbalances before they develop into full-blown disease—they typically fall outside the scope of what insurance companies consider “medically necessary.”

While this may feel frustrating, many of my clients find that investing in functional testing actually saves time, money, and guesswork in the long run. It allows us to target support precisely, rather than relying on trial-and-error approaches.

  • All major credit cards and HSA cards are accepted. Please note that HSA rules vary, so it’s the client’s responsibility to confirm whether these services are covered under your plan. Additionally, I offer flexible payment plans.

  • The Yarrow Method
The Yarrow Method is my signature 6-month program. It cannot be condensed because it’s designed to be truly transformational and comprehensive. This program takes you through a deep, step-by-step process that addresses not only your immediate concerns but also the root causes behind them. Over six months, we create the time and space needed for advanced functional lab testing, personalized protocols, and lifestyle shifts that stick. This is the program for clients who want lasting change and are ready to invest in their long-term health.

    The Core Method
For those looking for a more streamlined option, I also offer The Core Method. This program is a cost-effective, foundational choice with a membership option that provides meaningful results in a shorter time frame (3-4 months is reasonable for a highly motivated client, 6 months is ideal). It’s a high-impact, functional approach that gives any client the clarity and tools they need to start improving energy, gut health, hormones, and metabolic health. The Core Method is ideal if you’re seeking a solid foundation in functional wellness at a more accessible pace and investment level.

  • I don’t typically rely on just one test, because health is never one-dimensional. One lab alone only gives us a snapshot — but your body works as a connected system. That’s why I use 5–6 carefully chosen functional tests to see the full picture of your metabolism, gut health, hormones, stress response, detox pathways, and more. This comprehensive view helps us uncover the real root causes, connect the dots, and create a truly personalized plan that drives lasting results.

If you’re interested in a single lab test to “dip your toes in” we can certainly discuss, but if you’re ready for lasting change I will always recommend a comprehensive approach.

  • Yes — all of my client sessions are 100% virtual, and that’s by design.

I chose this intentionally because it gives us the most flexibility, consistency, and depth — no matter where you’re located. Whether you're across town or across the globe, we can meet from the comfort of your own space, without the stress of traffic, parking, or squeezing appointments into a busy day.

Virtual doesn’t mean less effective — in fact, many clients tell me they prefer it. They feel more at ease, more present, and more themselves when they can show up in familiar surroundings. That matters.

You don’t need to be tech-savvy to make it work. I use a simple, private Zoom link for sessions. If you can open an email and click a link, you’re all set. And if anything ever feels unclear, I’ll walk you through it.

I also work with clients in multiple time zones — we’ll find a rhythm that works for both of us.

At the end of the day, it’s not about being in the same room. It’s about being fully present in the process. And that’s something we can absolutely create — screen or no screen.
